Result: Election for 2026 Board of Directors
202 ballots were tabulated
Jim Fagelson, Luis A. Gonzalez Guerrios, and David Pozzi have been elected to serve on the PToD board commencing on January 1, 2026.

Jim Fagelson
All my work, both professionally and volunteer, required the ability to listen to diverse viewpoints and create a compromise that addressed the needs identified.
- Board of Directors of an international LGBTQ parenting organization for 12 years
- On the Boards for both Marches on Washington
- Volunteer coordinator for a coalition of national Gay organizations at both the Democratic and Republican conventions in 1988, 1992 and 1996
- A proud grandfather of an awesome trans grandson (ftm)
Working with the PrimeTimers Board would call upon the same abilities to listen and provide services and activities that reflect the diversity of the membership. The Board should be able to listen to the needs of the entire membership and create programs and activities that address those needs.

Luis A. Gonzalez Guerrios
I am Luis A. Gonzalez Guerrios. My interpersonal and professional skills would benefit the PTOD board as well as the membership at large. The academic and professional skills I have accumulated during my 34-year career in business and education have prepared me for this role. Currently, I am a volunteer at the Mizell Center and a member of the Palm Springs Senior Softball League.
The two goals that I would pursue as a board member would be to build upon the ongoing efforts to expand the PTOD’s involvement with other organizations in the Coachella Valley and explore different ways to help new and potential members feel welcome, which in turn would decrease the outflow of members.

David Pozzi
I am honored to be considered for a position on the PToD Board. With over 40 years of experience serving on various boards, I bring a strong understanding of governance, bylaws, and the importance of maintaining organizational standards while ensuring steady progress in this changing world. My attention to detail and commitment to efficiency have allowed me to contribute effectively in past leadership roles.
Through volunteering for PToD dinners and attending several PToD Board meetings, I have gained valuable insight into the responsibilities and expectations of being on this board. I am confident that my experience, dedication, and organizational skills make me a strong candidate to serve on the PToD Board. Thank you.
