DESCRIPTION:Outreach Mixer Organization for June 1 is LGBTQ+ History & Archives of the Desert\n\nThe Outreach Mixer on Monday\, June 1 at Escena from 5:00–6:30 PM will feature the LGBTQ+ History & Archives of the Desert\, a community-based organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of LGBTQ+ individuals\, businesses\, organizations\, and events throughout Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. The Archives works to collect and make accessible important historical materials that celebrate and document the LGBTQ+ community’s impact on the Greater Palm Springs area. \nThe Archives is currently seeking LGBTQ+ memorabilia from the past 60 to 70 years\, including newspapers\, magazines\, posters\, t-shirts\, and other items connected to local LGBTQ+ organizations\, businesses\, and events. Members who may have items stored away are encouraged to bring them to the June 1 Mixer or contact the Archives to help preserve these important pieces of history for future generations.\n\nCome and meet the team behind the Archives on \nJune 1 at Escena\, 5-6:30pm.
